Human rights and deprivation of liberty
Abstract
The world of custodial work today at all latitudes as a reality that we are shown preceded by a series of veils, the type of work we develop can lift more or less veils, but in any case we never see what actually happens in a prison or penitentiary, who can only do suffer the deprivation of liberty, I mean, an occasional visitor, official watchdog, enforcement judge, researcher, member support network, etc.. get to see much more than those who do not ever enter an establishment, even though their perception is clouded by multiple veils. It is therefore necessary to strengthen the debate on the situation of fundamental human rights of persons deprived of liberty in detention in Colombia.
