This text aims to reflect on the training of teachers, bringing in its center the issue of teacher education in a critical way. Daily challenges are thrown at school and teachers. It’s needed to check how teachers are being trained.There are many gaps in the training of teachers, among them is the need for the courses to contribute with approaches that favor the future teacher in acquiring critical formation, creating a new pattern of social organization. In this context, PARFOR stands out, where, in UFRRJ-IM, it seeks to bring critical formation to the center of the reflections.
