Improving heading of Scientific Library as the linguistic basis of information retrieval and communication system

Abstract

Rubricator of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (VNLU) is the basis of linguistic support automated library system. For the organization of certain information arrays enough to use a abridged version Rubricator VNLU. Department of scientific processing of documents and information and communication technologies VNLU started work on the creation of data base «Abridged version of VNLU Rubricator for Scientific Library». Implementation Rubricator as authority file creates a conditions for its use as a subject navіgator in online electronic resources VNLU. The introduction of an abridged version Rubricator in all divisions Scientific Library will provide a single subject point of access to scientific information sources.
