Abstract
The aim of this is paper is address the issue of religion in Franz Kafka from the analysis made by the theologian Karl-Josef Kuschel in his theological and literary portrait of the Prague Circle Jew not limited to a narrow reading to Judaism, but involve interpretations that the approach of Christian hope, in a letter to Robert Klopstok, his friend of later years, in describing the character he calls “the other Abraham.”
