INFERÊNCIAS PRELIMINARES SOBRE REMODELAÇÕES OSTEOPATOLÓGICAS E CORRELATAS EM VÉRTEBRAS, COSTELAS E OSSOS DE MÃOS E PÉS DA COLEÇÃO ANTROPOLÓGICA DO SÍTIO PRÉ-HISTÓRICO FURNA DO NEGO, MUNICÍPIO DE JATAÚBA, PERNAMBUCO, BRASIL

Abstract

Este relatório de pesquisa apresenta os resultados quantitativos e qualitativos das análises de remodelações de origem patológicas observadas em remanescentes ósseos humanos que compõem a coleção antropológica do sítio arqueológico pré-histórico Furna do Nego, que está sob a guarda do Núcleo de Estudos Arqueológicos do Departamento de Arqueologia da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Dessa coleção, foram selecionados 111 vestígios ósseos compostos por fragmentos, sendo registradas 42 remodelações de origem patológica, como artropatias, anomalias e alterações correlatas post mortem. ABSTRACT This research report presents the results of quantitative and qualitative analysis of pathological remodeling seen in human skeletal remains that make up the anthropological collection of the prehistoric archaeological site of the Black Cavern, which is under the custody of the Núcleo de Estudos Arqueológicos, Departamento de Arqueologia of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. In this collection, we selected 111 bone fragments, in which were perceived 42 alterations of pathological origin, such as: arthropathies, anomalies and related postmortem changes.
