A DINÂMICA DA APRENDIZAGEM COLETIVA E SUAS IMPLICAÇÕES PARA AS INOVAÇÕES DE PROCESSOS EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO FEDERAL DE ENSINO BRASILEIRA CENTENÁRIA: O CASO CEFET/RJ
Abstract
This study configures the experience of a group of workers with the creation of a knowledge space through collective learning that resulted in a work process innovation in a centenary Federal Teaching Institution - IFE, the CEFET/RJ. Workers in the patrimony area, crowded at different IFE campuses, acted in isolation and then decided to meet to exchange knowledge about their work, thus creating a social group. From a qualitative approach, the case study strategy was used to understand how these workers experienced the meetings of this group, which presented characteristics of a community of practice. For that, data were collected by participant observation in this social group, and individual interviews with five workers who participated in the meetings. Through the analysis of content, the results found highlight the importance of knowledge (tacit and explicit) exchanges between these workers, and evidences the emergence of a process innovation, stimulated by the collective learning environment created, called the Exchange Desk. The Exchange Desk allows the redistribution of materials between the campuses, resulting in a shorter replacement time, which also allows greater savings for the institution.
