Higher Education Institutions (HEI) are increasingly being demanded by companies and society to educate and prepare professionals with more competences and capable of interacting with the environment in a dynamic and systemic way. As a result, HEI assess the performance level of their faculty members. The aim of this paper is to identify which indicators of performance in higher education in Stricto Sensu post-graduation courses can be grouped and their influence on course quality. Multivariate statistical technique (Factor Analysis) was used for analyzing. The main result was grouping the indicators in six factors: “Doctorate”, “Books”, “Fostering 1”, “Fostering 2”, “Master”, and “Paper publishing”; the indicators in each factor help to improve the group, thereby enhancing higher education quality.
