Dinâmicas de divulgação de ciência aberta: o caso do Grupo de Trabalho de Divulgação do RCAAP

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to show the work done by the Working Group of RCAAP (Repositórios Científicos de Acesso Aberto de Portugal) project for the dissemination of Open Access in Portugal, during its activity and the impact on RCAAP’s community. This Group was established in 2013 as RCAAP wanted to encourage its members to participate more actively in promoting Open Access for the academic and scientific community in Portugal. This group focus its action on disseminating International Open Access Week (OAW), a world-wide event for the promotion of Open Access to knowledge. Results of the activities and materials suggested for the dissemination of the Open Access Week are presented corresponding to the goals defined by the Working Group. Conclusions confirm the effort of the activities and tasks promoted by this group, boosting the dissemination of Open Science in Portugal.
