Działania Unii Europejskiej przeciwdziałające cyfrowemu wykluczeniu na przy-kładzie wymagań odnośnie dostępności

Abstract

European Union has been paying attention to the issue of digital exclusion for years; that attention is noticeable in strategies of building an European information society. Special care was taken in regard to disabled people. One of the activities with intent of reduction digital exclusion in aforementioned group is a requirement for public institution WWW sited to be adapted to WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) standards. The goal of this paper is to verify the degree in which website of Polish Państwowy Fundusz Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych (PFRON) is adapted to WAI standards.
