La argumentación to hoti en Aristóteles

Abstract

The most widespread accounts of the Aristotelian theory of science emphasize enough the importance that Aristotle attributes to demonstration dióti as a way of securing the explanation of facts from their causes; but they frequently underestimate the role and nature of argumentation óti in Aristotle's thought. This account sketches the characteristics of the explanation óti in Posterior Anatytics and its importance for a better comprehension of Aristotle's theory of demonstration.
