Utopian living (looking for new utopias) ---------- Had someone described, a little more than a year ago, the world that we're living in today, we would have certainly thought of a new utopian or dystopian novel. Utopia is progressive thinking, it tends to shape the future by mediating real knowledge with imaginary visions. In contrast, Dystopia is a negative utopia and it's interesting to note how many dystopic ideas have been surpassed by a present that requires a new vision of society and a new definition of dwelling. This text begins with the analysis of utopian and dystopian literature and investigates opportunities to rethink our sense of being in the world and of dwelling.
