Abstract

In his academical works Vitoria inquires into the instrumentalization and some Spanish dominion over the Indies, in which he justifies an ontological view sustained on an anthropological investigation about the relations between both human beings and towns in order to overcome all presumptive natural slavery and instrumental treatment against human dignity and transcendental freedom, on one hand; as well as to establish the moral arguments by which the problem of legal slavery would be solved further on, on the other.
