The Hypertension (HTN) presents high prevalence in worldwide population, thus prevention programs and monitoring need to be applied in the population. The aim was to assess the “Hypertension Project” analyzing factors that aggravate the HTN. It was observed that 55% of samples presented normal bloody sugar level, 83% have BP lower than 140/90 mmHg, 86% are in Overweight/Obesity level, 68% are sedentary, 65% have high/very high risk to develop cardiovascular diseases. It was concluded that monitoring hypertensive people from the project allowed to satisfactory results in relation to BP decrease, however, due to the significant presence of risk factors in the population, preventive campaigns parallel to BP measurements are necessary.
