AbstractThis study aimed to investigate the nationalist perspectives of Islamic thinkers in Bandung, Indonesia, specifically A. Hassan, M. Natsir, and Isa Anshary, and analyze their monumental works. A qualitative-descriptive method with a case study methodology was used. The data were obtained through a literature review of the works of these three individuals and interviews with various sources in Bandung, including representatives from NU, Muhammadiyah, and academic circles. The eight works under examination discussed the issue of nationalism from a religious perspective, a particularly intriguing and relevant topic. Furthermore, the scholars explored nationalism based on Islamic teachings, emphasizing that ethnicity, religion, and language should not impede the development of a shared sense. These differences were seen as opportunities to implement actual Islamic teachings in everyday life.
