The Effect of Attitude on Behavior among Scientific and Staff Employees of Educational Institutes
Abstract
Attitude is the way that a person perceives a special phenomenon or subject, so job attitude is a kind of feeling that a person has toward a particular job. This descriptive-analytical study aimed to investigate the effect of attitude on normal and abnormal behaviors based on an Islamic approach in educational institutes. A library and documentary research method was applied for data collecting. The data were analyzed using a content analysis related to Ijtihadi analysis. The results showed that: 1. the main attitudes, included faith, unfaith, and hypocritical attitudes, have, as a system, input (cognitive elements), process (emotional elements), and output (behavioral elements); 2. in the educational institutes, when we pay attention to a subject, the faith element, as the first cognitive element, happens; when we have an emotional orientation regarding our cognition, the heart element appears, and finally, the quality of scientific and educational behavior is determined based on our cognition and emotional orientation; 3. the attitude elements have a strong relationship with the normal and abnormal behaviors of educational employees. 4. as a whole, in the educational institutes, scientific employees' attitude affects the normal and abnormal behaviors.
