Construyendo la excepción: Mariquita Sánchez desde lo biográfico

Abstract

The present article analyzes and discuss the uses of biographyon historical science throughthe problematization of the construction that the historiography made of Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson. This objective invites us to reflect about a field which reproduces in an imitative way theoretical suppositions and methodological strategies, and complementarily, to make a more complex study about what does it takes to write the trajectoryof a single subject.
