O Telejornalismo entre a Paleo e a Neotevê

Abstract

This article retakes the concepts of paleo and neotevê, searching to form a contrast with Brazilian TV news. For such, it takes as starting point two piece of news presented by TV Globo´s Jornal Nacional, in December 2007. The analysis of the news and its confontration to the characteristics of paleo and neotevê allows both a better understanding of those concepts as well as to deepen the apprehension of the Tv news and the historical evolution of the Brazilian television.
