Overtime – whereto?
Abstract
The overtime with respect to the normal working hours determined by law and organizationrules are a source of apparent profit, but when exercised without a strict control leads to rapid “depreciation”of human resource, causing alienation and stress. Overtime abuse indicates ignorance of themain vector for growth and organizational and social development. Managers should make efforts tounderstand these fundamental truths instead of pushing the legal limits to risk rules reinforcements bythe control authority.
