Abstract With global pressure mounting on industries to curb carbon emissions, companies are increasingly exploring sustainable business practices to meet environmental targets. The pharmaceutical and chemical industries in Bangladesh, being significant contributors to environmental pollution, must adopt green strategies to align with global climate goals. This research examines the impact of green financing and green logistics on achieving net zero emissions, with a focus on these critical industries. The study utilizes a cross-sectional design, collecting primary data through a self-administered questionnaire survey. Simple random sampling was employed to select 279 participants, including finance controllers, chief financial officers, management accountants, departmental managers, and senior officers from the targeted industries. Data analysis was conducted using “Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).” The findings indicate that green financing plays a significant role in driving net zero emissions, with strong positive effects on “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)” activities related to customers, employees, and the community. Green logistics also positively influences net zero emissions and enhances CSR efforts, particularly in community engagement. These results underscore the importance of adopting sustainable financial and logistics practices to achieve environmental goals. The study provides practical insights for companies aiming to improve their environmental outcomes and CSR performance through green initiatives. This research contributes to the literature by offering a novel examination of the impact of green initiatives on both CSR and net zero emissions in Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical and chemical industries, utilizing PLS-SEM for a comprehensive analysis.
