Different studies assessing genetic and environmental aspects in migraine

Abstract

Recent advances in genetics have shown the importance of thegenetic component on migraine. Studies on twins also point out tothe importance of genetic migraine. On the other hand,epidemiological data identified environmental factors that areimportant in the genesis of migraine. Studies on familial hemiplegicmigraine with or without aura will certainly bring new informationand help understanding the real contribution of genetic andenvironmental factors to the genesis of migraine.
