Do ut des. Reti anticomuniste e circolazione periferica nel Cono Sud (1975-1981)

Abstract

The article aims to study the mechanisms of militant circulation in the NSD space, retracing the path of European anti-communist gropus through Chile, Argentina and Bolivia. It shows how the militants' stay in the territory was linked to the protection of a well-defined regime, which allowed them to remain in its territory in exchange for operational tasks. What emerges, also, is the influence that continental political dynamics had on the trajectory followed by the militants, as well as the peripherality of the phenomenon towards the conflict between the US and USSR.
