The article gives a complete performance of parasitic diseases such as trichinosis and opisthorchiasis. These parasitic diseases rank 7th and 8th in the rate of the risk of food contamination by parasites, published by the World Health Organization and the Food Agriculture Organization in 2014. The paper deals with a historical overview of these diseases, as well as the features of pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment.
