The tutorial manual discusses the subject, objectives and functions of culture; theoretical foundations of cultural studies; features of Ukrainian folk and national culture in terms of the world culture. The tasks are set out to study the periods of development of Ukrainian culture in terms of the world cultural and historical eras.
