Two new tables of Alonso Vázquez and the influence of Marten de Vos.

Abstract

Thanks to the discovery of two new tables, the catalogue of Alonso Vázquez, an outstanding painter in the Sevilla siècle, is expanded. The in-depth study and the analysis offers significant contributions and allows to establish relationships with other preserved paintings of the artist, while determining the influence that had the flamenco Marten de Vos in his compositions, both in Sevillian works as in its final stage, which was developed in Mexico from 1603.
