Abstract

The article is devoted to the creative heritage of the team of architects led by A.K. Barutchev in the field of low-rise housing construction during the first post-war decade. It describes in detail the planning and construction of the residential complexes on Sredneokhtinsky Avenue and Engels Avenue focusing on their spatial treatment and planning features.
