Clinical features and surgical treatment of small and medium-sized arteriovenous malformations of cerebral hemispheres with torpid type of clinical manifestations.

Abstract

115 observations of surgical treatment of AVMs of the cerebral hemispheres of small and medium-sized with various clinical manifestations were analyzed, among which there were 11 cases with the prevalence of cephalgic syndrome or focal symptoms in the clinic. All the patients underwent surgical treatment with the use of endovascular embolization. Differentiated approach used by us to determine the optimal method of surgical treatment allowed achieving satisfactory results in all the cases with the torpid type of clinical manifestations.
