The new class of thermoelectric devices for converting signals is based on thermoelectric controlling of element parameters with phase transition in a narrow temperature-field of phase transition. When you narrow the field of operating temperatures the overall thermoelements productivity increases sharply, ensuring the efficient conversion of signals at a minimum expenditure of energy. The paper describes several types of thermoelectric converters, based on these principles. The number of types of converters can be significantly increased in the use of thermoelectric control of elements with phase transition at different fields of temperatures. As the thermoelements size decrease to the micron and submicron dimensions, the application of thermoelectric converters could be expanded to high frequencies and integrated technologies.
