The gravity data were analyzed and interpreted to delineate the main structural trend in western Iraq. The Pie-Slice technique was applied to the residual anomalies of gravity data with an interval angle of 20o, which results from eighteen trending maps. The major trends are defined as N25E, N15E, E-W, N50W and N30W and the minor trend N-S. This trend is generally related to deep structural and to detect their effects on the surface used lineaments extracted from Landsat Satellite Imagery. The prominent direction of lineaments N25E-N35E and N55W, and less prominent direction N45W, Generally the final results show lineaments trend coinciding perfectly with the trend of subsurface structures in NE direction and in NW trends of lineaments show nearly coinciding with gravity trends.
