The effects of personality type tests on innovation process
Abstract
The innovation process is intensive, immersive and non-linear. During this process a team is tested on their skills, experience and adaptability. To increase the efficiency and encourage healthy communication in multidisciplinary teams, the use of a personality test is effective in creating a common ground for discussion and promote familiarity that sets a strong base for complex group dynamics. This paper will outline the value of taking a personal approach from the beginning and the effects on the decision making process and discuss the results based on a case study under a joint program with CERN and Delft University of Technology.
