Background. The complexity of legal regulation of economic and related social relations in the context of modern challenges and threats requires taking into account in such regulation indicators of human quality of life. The interdisciplinary nature of the con-cept of quality of life requires its theoretical and legal justification for the purpose of sys-tematic consideration in legal regulation, which naturally incorporates public law and pri-vate law methods. Materials and methods. The implementation of research tasks was achieved based on the analysis of scientific literature on the research topic, as well as legal acts. Comparative legal and formal legal methods were used. Results. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and legislation, several approaches to the study of the concept of quality of life in law have been identified. Quality of life is considered as a value protected by law, in the context of human rights and principles of law, from the point of view of secu-rity, purpose, vector of legal regulation, from the standpoint of assessing the impact of cer-tain phenomena on legal regulation, as well as the procedural component. The features of taking into account the concept of quality of life in the legal regulation of economic and related relations are outlined. Conclusions. The interdisciplinary nature of the concept of quality of life determines the complexity of the legal regulation of social relations, includ-ing not only economic, but also labor and other relations. It is important to identify a list of subcategories in the concept of quality of life (institutional quality, quality of working life, health-related quality of life, etc.). The quality of life in terms of legal protection of human rights and freedoms can be considered as a criterion for assessing the effectiveness of gov-ernment regulation in general. Legal regulation of the economy based on taking into ac-count the concept of people's quality of life is naturally based on constitutional values. The quality of life in modern conditions acts as a vector of legal regulation of economic and related social relations.
