Apport du GPS dans l'étude de la dynamique des dunes : exemples au Maroc oriental

Abstract

The aim of this study is to add to the results already obtained in eastern Morocco, in the Bouarfa - Chott Tigri area, on the potential of GPS (Global Positioning System) to follow the movement of dunes. The measurements, carried out once a year from 2013 to 2023, were used to determine changes in four small dunes: movement in different directions, extension or retraction, fattening or degradation. The results obtained demonstrate the value of GPS as well as its limitations for studies of this type.Traduction réalisée par DeepL
