SOME FEATURES OF TEACHING OF STOMATOLOGY TO FOREIGN STUDENTS IN DONETSK NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Authors share experience of teaching of stomatology to the foreign students in the Donetsk National Medical University. The department of stomatology provides teaching to the foreign students by forces of highly skilled professors and associate professors. The department of stomatology published the methodical guidelines for Russian talking and English talking foreign students. The teaching aid was published, which uses the celebrated popularity at foreign students. A lecture course remains the leading link of educational process in the university. A lecture install bases of scientific knowledge, makes a theoretical base for the studied discipline, acquaints students with methodology of researches, serves as a point and work of students assignment specifies on all of other types of educational process. It is necessary constantly to search of new knowledge, progressive, except existent archaic, eliminated itself materials, but keep the classics. The teaching staff of department includes one doctor of sciences, professor, six candidates of sciences from which four associate professors and two assistants and three assistants. High professional training, large experience and responsibility of faculty advisors, allow to realize an educational process at high methodological level. Another directions of teaching optimization of subject there is the use of test control for foreign students. Thus attention on correctness of tests, their balanced, applies on complication. Another forms of extraclasses work of students is involving them in research work. Research activity of students passes students mainly in own time, and its basic organizational forms is work in student scientific groups, departments of scientific information, patent-licensed departments, participating in implementation of research works jointly with the employees of department, participating in student scientific conferences, exhibitions, competitions, festivals, olympiads et cetera. In the psychological features of teaching foreign students there is a row of difficulties, overcoming of which requires from a teacher knowledge of specific of national character, mentality of foreign students, and also personal emotional stability. Teachers delivering subject in English should systematically promote the level of domain by a language by passing of the proper courses, internship abroad in the English speaking countries. There should not be more than five-six students in any foreign group (both Russian and Englishlanguage), then a teacher will have the real levels of disciplinary influence.
