IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPETENCE APPROACH IN DEVELOPING VILLAGE PROSE: THE CONTEXTS OF UNDERSTANDING AND LEARNING ASTAFYEVʼS CYCLE “KING-FISH”)
Abstract
In this work the authors through the use of competence-based approach identifies the key concepts required for development within the school curriculum. The article examines the key aspects and typical features of rural prose. They are analyzed in light of the factors necessary for the attainment of the whole array (and, in particular, the stories of Victor Astafiev from the series “King of fish”) as part of the school course of Russian literature. As a result of analysis, the authors propose a system of teaching methods, the implementation of which allows to ensure the development of the moral and philosophical meaning for the development of village prose.
