In the last decades, critical analysis renounced to attack the pop imaginary. This article sustain that it’s possible reactivate this analysis if we consider the works of some scholars from the past. Therefore, this essay analyze the works of Benjamin, McLuhan, Barthes, Eco, but also those of the Birmingham School and of the cultural studies. Above all, analyze in deep the work of Jean Baudrillard.
