ON PARADIGMATIC LINKS IN THE FORMATIVE FAMILIES WITH THE TOP AI IN THE EVEN LANGUAGE

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the formative families with the top ai in the Even language, which includes disclosing the structure, volume of the formative families, methods of derivative formation, as well as studying the development of paradigmatic connections in the formative families. Method or methodology of the work. The main research method is the descriptive one along with the methods of word-formation and semantic analysis. Results. In the work, the derivational volume of the formative families with the apex (56 units) was established. The main way of word formation is suffixation, one derivative is formed by adding the stems. The borrowed word-formation methods are revealed. High derivational activity is observed at the first stage of word formation. Eight word-building paradigms are revealed. The development of two paradigms is historically associated with the period of Soviet power and the modern tendences. Practical implications. The results of the work can be applied in studies of synchronous and diachronous word formation in the Tungus-Manchu languages.
