Portal hypertension due to a non-parasitic hepatic cyst
Abstract
Several etiological factors account for portal hypertension.Obstruction of the main portal vein in non-cirrhotic patients ismainly due to thrombosis resulting from various causes. There isonly one report in the literature about non-parasitic hepatic cystsleading to compression of the portal vein and manifestations ofportal hypertension.
