Influence de l’amorçage sur les paramètres morphologiques et physiologiques au cours de la croissance de la variété c26 de riz cultivée en conditions pluviales et de bas-fond en Côte d’Ivoire
Abstract
Rice is a cereal that constitutes the staple food of more than half of the world’s population. In recent years yields have fallen relative to demand. This drop in rice production is linked to cultural practices and also to the condition of the seeds at the time of planting. In this context of climate change, it is important to explore other alternatives. The objective of this study is to understand the physiological mechanisms involved in the growth of plants from primed seeds. The methodology used in this research is based on experimentation and laboratory analyses. To do this, seeds of the C26 rice variety are used. Rice seeds primed in different solutions are cultivated in lowland system and rainfed system. Plant growth and some physiological parameters are evaluated. The data collected after the experiments were analyzed using STATISTICA version 7.1 software. The main results of this research show that priming rice seeds improves plant growth and that the C26 rice variety is better adapted to lowland conditions.
