Protocadherin 17 Is a Tumor Suppressor and Is Frequently Methylated in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma [Retraction]

Abstract

At the request of the authors, the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Cancer Management and Research wish toretract the published article. We were notified of some potential issues found in the electrophoresis images presented in Figure 1B and C of the published article. The authors were asked to provide the original, unedited images for these figures as well as the original, unedited images for the Western blots shown in Figures 3B and 5C. The authors responded and explained that the required raw data for the gel electrophoresis and Western blots images had been lost and asked to retract the article to maintain the principle of scientificintegrity. The authors wish to apologise for this error. Our decision-making was informed by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retraction. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”. This retraction relates to this paper
