Mikail Mushfig (1908-1938), well aware of the intricacies of classical poetry, also wrote poetry in the Aruz style (prosody, metric in eastern poetry). Three poems written by a poet in the Muhammas genre attract attention with its content and perfection of form. The poet, who took Soviet power from his heart, wrote in 1926 Muhammas “My Country” about how good it is to live in a happy country, a new life in a new society, far from problems. The poem, from beginning to end, was written in an optimistic spirit, the natural beauty of the immense native land is praised. In this poem, one can feel the influence of goshma (eleventh composition, the method of Azerbaijani versification) by the outstanding playwright Jafar Jabbarly in the poem "Olkem" (My country). In the five-footed Muhammas “The Winds”, written in 1929, it glorifies this elemental force of nature, as that which connects nature with the rest of the world. In this poem, known for its high poetry, sincerity and peculiar rhythm, the poet says that the winds wandering around the world now knock on the door like a good friend. The poem "Telegraph wires", written by the poet in 1929, glorifies telegraph wires connecting various distant corners of the world, this is a technical achievement of the modern era. In the verses in the Muhammas genre, written by one of the most talented representatives of Azerbaijani poetry, Mikhail Mushfig, optimism, sincerity are heard, a new era in the life of people, a new system is sung.
