Current state and prospects of the hotel industry development in Kharkiv region

Abstract

The authors analyse the current state and prospects of the hotel industry development in Kharkiv region. Hospitality is one of the main factors of formation of a strong tourism industry in the region, the tool of increasing both domestic and international tourist flows, the part of the Kharkiv region tourist image. The effective functioning of the hotel industry will increase the effectiveness of transformational changes in the regional economy, the diversification of existing potential. The priorities of the hotel sector enterprises are to improve the system of service quality, to create the client-oriented service, to renovate the material base, to implement the international standards service, to use the innovative forms of organizing the regional hotel business.
