ESTAÇÃO DE MARÉS TERRESTRES DA UFPR - HISTÓRICO, MANUTENÇÃO E ESTÁGIO ATUAL DE DESENVOLVIMENTO
Abstract
The UFPR Earth Tides Station (EMTUFPR) was implanted in 1983 by the Geodetic Sciences Post-Graduation, and has been used to study the gravimetric tides behavior with local and regional character, being considered as fundamental to South America determinations. In this work are presented: (a) an historical description of several data series and different tidal analysis allowing to characterize the local tidal parameters with the necessary quality factors; (b) the used equipment maintenance procedures (gravity meters, air pressure and temperature sensors, etc) and local storage of data; (c) discharge, organization and pre-analysis of collected data; (d) modern computational resources and tools to analysis and interpretation of instrumental and environmental effects; (e) obtained results in different work periods at the Station, until the present date and future research work perspectives in the area.
