Based on a study carried out on links between health and education through the articles published in one of the most important educational French review , this paper reveals how, when seen through the prism of educational theories, researchers tend to twist around health-based concepts to meet the requirements of both educational theories and institutional expectations.The article puts forward how specific data is selected and how health topics fall into a strong academic hierarchy. The article therefore stresses some “noble issues” and some “not so noble issues”, as well as a lack of visibility of this specific field of research.
