The article describes the modern literature data on the incidence of acute, chronic pancreatitis and its complications. The current classification of complications of acute and chronic pancreatitis. The possibilities of digital diagnostic methods (ultrasonography, computer tomography, endosonography) this pathology. Considered the advantages and disadvantages of these methods of diagnosis. Describes the types of minimally invasive interventions under the control of the means of medical imaging, the indications and contraindications to them, deals with the complications.
