EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY OF VACCINATION AGAINST INFECTION CAUSED BY HAEMOPHILUS INFLUENZAE TYPE B AMONG INFANTS
Abstract
The authors studied the results of immunization among the children against the infection caused by haemophilus influenzae type B by two vaccines: ACT HIB and Hiberix. They confirmed high vaccination efficiency, as among almost all the children they identified an increase of the antibody titer against type b haemophilus influenzae. Vaccine tolerance was good. Side effects were rare (brief body temperature increase, focal reactions) and ill defined.Key words: haemophilus influenzae type B, vaccination, children.
