The changes that occurred in the field of information and communication technologies in recent decades have had a significant impact on various fields of human activity, particularly on new creative practices and new regimes of knowledge production. It is true that for some time the effort was going towards the integration of computer tools in the fields of arts, humanities and social sciences, but only as technical support to established academic methods. However, with the emergence of the paradigm of Digital Humanities further transformations have become more visible, such as the purpose of reinventing culture through the grammar of new media, and the increasing mediating effect of digital technology on how research is organized and presents its findings to the public.
