CURIOSIDADES COLONIALES EN LETRA Y TRAZO: UNA PROYECCIÓN MUNDIALIZADORA
Abstract
La construcción de lo Otro como una forma de mundialización a través de textos y grabados sobre América colonial. Los textos sobre Brasil en el siglo XVI y XVII son retratos que forman parte de una colección. La divulgación de estos artefactos conforman, de ese modo, una realidad emblemática, en que es posible distinguir tanto las singularidades, como las generalidades del territorio y la humanidad americana. La interpretación de América, por lo tanto, como una composición en que, entre las imágenes y el texto, prevalece la imaginaciónThe construction of the Other as a form of globalization through texts and engravings in colonial America. The texts on Brasil in the 16th and 17th Centuries ave portraits that are part of a collection. The disclosure of these artifacts conform in that way, an emblematic reality, in which it is possible to distinguish the singularities as well as the generalities of the territory and American humanity.
