Reexamining the issue of wild animals in disaster management

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to examine the relationship between the biodiversity of wild animals and disaster management. Qualitative content analysis is a key method used to compare the approach of wild animals as subjects of biodiversity with that of major disasters. These approaches are examined in terms of the sub-variables of international organizations, developed nations, and developing nations. A key proposal is that all three sub-variables must change their approach from the former to the latter while enhancing animal rights, education, and local culture. In this study, disaster management was comprehensively applied to wild animals.
