This paper tells about a nursing intervention based on the caring relationship as an instrument todiminish early wean. During three months four mothers who were suckling their babies were visited by two undergraduatenursing students. The efficacy of this intervention was evaluated using the data of semi structured interviewswhich were analyzed by qualitative methods. The results shows that the domiciliary health visiting is an importantway to establish a caring relationship between the healthcare professionals and the mothers. So it enablesa healthcare assistance in accordance with the singularities of breast feeding a child.
