Abstract

Countries that are most often visited by tourists are characterised by a high number of cultural objects, easy access to services of the T&T sector, good tourist infrastructure and medical services. Apart from the factors listed above, nowadays, a significant element affecting the attractiveness of a country is its level of safety. Despite many air, railway and car accidents and crashes, the problem of safety in transport is not a factor important for choosing a relevant country as a destination of a tourist trip. On the basis of world reports, the most attractive countries of the world were listed, significant factors affecting the level of road traffic safety were presented (RTS) and an attempt to analyse the state of the RTS in these countries was made in the article.
