Abstract
The main source of this paper, which is written for giving workload degree of an Ottoman court in the light of practices in Rodoscuk, is the Court Registers of Rodoscuk/Tekfurdagı. The records in the defters of late 17th century have been classified under the name of minute and copy and daily workload of the court has been demonstrated in tables. The daily workload of the court, sometimes did not operate anything, remained at an average of 1. When the reasons of this degree, which is fairly low compared to the average of the other cities, are discussed, it is understood that the main reason was the production capacity of the period right along with the relatively less population and resolving of some cases without court through agreement.
